Our Mission

At Ten2One Foundation, we are reimagining what it means to build trust between police and the communities they serve—especially youth. Our mission is to transform community-police relationships through mentorship, meaningful engagement, and inclusive programming rooted in empathy, respect, and shared growth.

We believe every connection counts, and that deep, consistent relationships are the most powerful tools we have to reduce fear, promote understanding, and create lasting change.

Our Why

Tensions between communities and police are often rooted in misunderstanding, historical trauma, and lack of trust. Rather than focus solely on policies or protests, Ten2One works at the human level—by fostering connection, storytelling, and real engagement between officers and the people they serve.

Our work is informed by:
⭐ Research on the mental health impact of aggressive policing
⭐ The disproportionate effects of violence on Black, Indigenous, and marginalized youth
⭐ The power of early mentorship to prevent negative outcomes and promote community wellness

Our Founders

Henry Chapman III

Founder & Visionary Leader

Henry Chapman III established Ten2One Foundation to repair and transform community-police relationships. With his deep-rooted experience as a U.S. Marine, educator, martial artist, and community activist, Henry envisioned programs that went beyond dialogue—programs that build bridges through structured mentorship and positive engagement. His founding principle of “Humanize and Harmonize” continues to guide Ten2One’s mission, inspiring a generation of youth and law enforcement to connect, collaborate, and co-create safer communities.
